I have shown deer damage to my trees in earlier videos. Deer numbers have greatly increased in England in the past few decades. I remember it used to be rare to see them- now they are very common. Deer control is ethical by any standard (even the PETA folks presumably would allow wolves, lions and bears to take deer as prey) and results in excellent food. Ideally one shoots them with a full bore rifle but these are almost impossible to obtain in England where we have the strictest gun control on the planet.
Shot guns are just about obtainable, with many restrictions. As a rule they may not be used on deer, but 'special load' buck shot is legal on deer in limited circumstances. i.e. agriculture where harm is being done to crops.
Deer are a major agricultural pest, increasing in numbers and make excellent eating. Why would there be a problem controlling them and using them for food?
