This train station and train ride experience made me a bit uncomfortable shall we say, and I 'd love to hear from locals and tourists alike to see what they think. The Naples main train station has a reputation for pickpockets but it's a fairly nice station. However, when you take the local train from Naples to Sorrento, you descend into a different, not as nice station. Once on the train, you make several, and I mean several, stops on a train that is old and going too fast for its own good. Every station we stopped at had graffiti. All in all, not a great experience and one I will not be repeating.
