At the Asian Cultural Council, we believe that cultural exchange can transform the world. Artists reflect and communicate the values, attitudes, and human concerns of a society. Over the last 55 years, ACC has supported 6000 creative individuals working across 16 disciplines and hailing from 26 countries. By connecting all of our grantees, we catalyze relationships that sow the seeds of lifelong partnerships, and advance international understanding and respect.
ACC’s greatest asset today is a powerful global alumni network of leaders in the arts, bound by the shared experience of self-discovery through cultural exchange. Their commitment furthers human progress towards a more harmonious and peaceful world.
This particular time of uncertainty and unrest underscores the importance of ACC's efforts to build deep and long-lasting relationships between individuals and across borders. In the words of our founder, John D. Rockefeller 3rd, “the fostering of cultural relations can be a form of insurance for the future of this dangerous but exciting world.”
